Jordan Gibbons
Jordan is a Director of Assure Worldwide Pty Limited. Jordan commenced his career as a corporate lawyer for one of Australia’s largest law firms before moving into financial services where his career has traversed retail banking, corporate banking and payments, at a variety of financial institutions in Australia.
Jordan also has extensive financial services consulting and strategy experience as a consultant in the financial services strategy practice of a major global consulting firm, consulting to financial institutions and corporations in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Jordan’s work has encompassed a variety of disciplines, including strategy, distribution, product management and operations. Some of his work includes the development of an Asian regional operating model for a large global card business, the establishment of a number of start ups and the design of business models, product development, mobile solutions, and the transformation of the ATM business for a major bank. He also is experienced in organisational design and efficiency.
A creative and innovative strategist, he is also able to effectively translate concepts into practical, implementable solutions with the appropriate business and financial overlay.
Jordan has presented at conferences and has been a member of a variety of banking and payment industry working groups, a director and Chairman of ATM Access Australia Limited, as well as an alternate director of a number of financial services industry boards. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has been a director of, and advisor to, a number of private companies and superannuation funds as well as community organisations. He holds a BEc (Syd), LLB (Syd) and MBA (MGSM).

Peter is a principal consultant of Assure Worldwide Pty Ltd, a company providing consultancy services to financial institutions and major retailers. He is a Payments and Cards specialist. As a senior executive at major Banks he has been the architect of successful business strategies that continue to deliver long-term market leading performance in the very competitive and heavily regulated Australian Cards and Payments industry. Peter has recently designed and implemented a global payments solution that utilises the latest technologies and innovative business models to create a fast, flexible, low cost and fully compliant next generation business model for the Cards Acquiring function. This solution can support multiple financial institutions operating in multiple markets.
Peter has an extensive and diverse background in the Finance industry encompassing senior executive roles in Risk, Audit, Technology, Operations and Business. His background in the cards and payments business extends over 30 years. He is an innovator and an excellent strategic thinker who understands industry direction and the trade-offs inherent between short and long term business decisions. Peter has a proven ability to manage large, complex projects with a long track record of successful delivery.
Peter has a Graduate Diploma, Banking and Finance (MGSM). Peter has presented at Payments industry conferences in Australia, Asia and Europe and represented on various Payments Industry Boards.
